Clark Claude Ernest
Born Deloraine Tasmania to Charles and Ellen Clark, an orchardist who embarked Fremantle 19th April 1915 on board “HMAT Argyllshire” with the 12th Infantry Battalion and returned to Australia 18th April 1919 He served in Gallipoli and France where he was wounded and died at the 12th AGI Cameron Street Launceston Tasmania 13th September 1919 and was buried in Carr Villa General Cemetery, Tasmania, Australia. His brother Charles Edmond Clarke (No 5670) died 19th December 1916 from a gunshot wound to the head and was buried in the Trois Arbres Cemetery France.
