Clark Claude Kenneth

Born 9th February 1890 Glen Huon Tasmania the son of James Alexander and Caroline Clark (nee Brown) a photo engraver he embarked Adelaide 1st April 1915 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 3rd March 1917 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France

Lance-Corporal Claude Kenneth Clark winner of a Tasmanian cross-country championship and who represented the State in interstate athletic contests was killed in France recently at the age of 27 years.
