Clark Matthew William

Born 1889 Bushy Park Tasmania the son of William and Mary Ann Elizabeth Clark (nee Fagan) a miner working in Broken Hill when he enlisted he embarked Melbourne 2^nd February 1915 on board “HMAT Clan McGillivray” with the 10^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 30^th July 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Shell Green Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey.
