Clarke, Charles Edmond

Born 23^rd June 1885 Deloraine Tasmania to Charles and Ellen Clarke (nee Clark) a labourer who embarked Hobart 8^th May 1916 on board “HMAT Seang Choon” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 40^th Battalion when he died 19^th December 1916 from a gunshot wound to the side of the head and ear and was buried in the Trois Arbres Cemetery, Steenwerck, France.
