Clarke, Charles Edmond
Born 23rd June 1885 Deloraine Tasmania to Charles and Ellen Clarke (nee Clark) a labourer who embarked Hobart 8th May 1916 on board “HMAT Seang Choon” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He was serving with the 40th Battalion when he died 19th December 1916 from a gunshot wound to the side of the head and ear and was buried in the Trois Arbres Cemetery, Steenwerck, France.
