Cleary, Errol Vincent

The son of William Frederick and Caroline Eliza Cleary a cycle mechanic of 6 Mary Street North Hobart he embarked Melbourne 10^th February 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 7^th August 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial (Panel 17), Gallipoli, Turkey.

His brother Wynford Howard Cleary died 22^nd April at the 94^th Field Ambulance Station from gunshot wounds to both legs and was buried in the Ebblington British Cemetery.

Their father Sapper W. F. Cleary also served.
