Cleary, Errol Vincent

The son of William Frederick and Caroline Eliza Cleary a cycle mechanic of 6 Mary Street North Hobart he embarked Melbourne 10th February 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 15th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 7th August 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial (Panel 17), Gallipoli, Turkey.
His brother Wynford Howard Cleary died 22nd April at the 94th Field Ambulance Station from gunshot wounds to both legs and was buried in the Ebblington British Cemetery.
Their father Sapper W. F. Cleary also served.
