Cobbett, Allan Lewis

Born 1895 Evandale Tasmania the son of Daniel and Elizabeth Cobbett (nee Cowdry) a labourer he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 15^th Battalion when he was killed in action 4^th July 1918 and is commemorated in the Crucifix Corner Cemetery, Villers-Bretonneux, France.
