Collins, Archibald Claude

Born 30^th September 1895 New Norfolk Tasmania the son of Alfred and Sarah Elizabeth Collins (nee Dunnage) married, a labourer he embarked 29^th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion

Served Gallipoli but was evacuated back to Australia per HS Suffolk due to enteric fever 30^th October 1915 for 3 months rest. He re embarked 30^th September 1916 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion

He was killed in action 24^th July 1918 and is commemorated in the Borre British Cemetery, Hazebrouck, Nord, France
