Collins, Archibald Claude
Born 30th September 1895 New Norfolk Tasmania the son of Alfred and Sarah Elizabeth Collins (nee Dunnage) married, a labourer he embarked 29th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26th Infantry Battalion
Served Gallipoli but was evacuated back to Australia per HS Suffolk due to enteric fever 30th October 1915 for 3 months rest. He re embarked 30th September 1916 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 12th Infantry Battalion
He was killed in action 24th July 1918 and is commemorated in the Borre British Cemetery, Hazebrouck, Nord, France
