Collins, George James
Born 1896 Deloraine Tasmania the son of Arthur Robert and Selina Collins (nee Ward) he embarked Hobart 13th December 1915 on board “HMAT Ajana” with the 26th Infantry Battalion. He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he died 18th April 1917 at the 49th Casualty Clearing Station from shell wounds to the back and left leg. He was buried in the Achiet-le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
