Collins, George James

Born 1896 Deloraine Tasmania the son of Arthur Robert and Selina Collins (nee Ward) he embarked Hobart 13^th December 1915 on board “HMAT Ajana” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52^nd Battalion when he died 18^th April 1917 at the 49^th Casualty Clearing Station from shell wounds to the back and left leg. He was buried in the Achiet-le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
