Connell Thomas

Born Hobart Tasmania the son of Joseph John and Violet Mary Connel (nee Rainford) a labourer he embarked Hobart Tasmania 20^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 8^th August 1915 from wounds received on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in Beach Cemetery Gallipoli Turkey.
