Conway, William John Montague
Born 23rd August 1898 Perth Tasmania the son of John and Laura Emilie Conway (nee Tilley) and married to Lilian Eileen Hardstaff, a station master he embarked Melbourne 10th September 1915 on board SS Makarini with the 12th Infantry Battalion
He was killed in action 25th July 1916 in France and is commemorated in the Pozieres British Cemetery Ovillers-La Boisselle, Pozieres, Pozieres Area, France.
Sadly his widow was left with three children under five and a new baby who was never seen by his father.
