Cooper, William Richard

Born Sorell Tasmania the son of Herbert and Elizabeth Ann Cooper (nee Challenger) a butcher he embarked Melbourne 25^th October 1916 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

Cpl Cooper was killed in action 12^th December 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Berks Cemetery Extension.
