Cooper, William Richard
Born Sorell Tasmania the son of Herbert and Elizabeth Ann Cooper (nee Challenger) a butcher he embarked Melbourne 25th October 1916 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
Cpl Cooper was killed in action 12th December 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Berks Cemetery Extension.
