Cooper Randall

 

 

Soldiers Memorial Avenue, Queens Domain, Hobart 

Born 15th December 1887 Hobart the son of Robert and Rebecca Cooper (nee Burgess) married to Irene Wise a 28 year old labourer embarked with the 12th Battalion later transferring to the 52nd and then to the 4th Machine Gun Battalion.  

He was on leave in Scotland when he contracted pneumonia and died at the 4th Scottish General Hospital on the 27th November 1918. 

He was buried in the Glasgow Western Necropolis.
