Cowen, George

Born 1883 Port Cygnet Tasmania the son of Henry and Ann Cowen (nee Coy) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 30^th September 1916 on board “HMAT Palermo” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 26^th December 1916 in England from broncho pneumonia and was buried in the Durrington Cemetery, United Kingdom.
