Crockett William Ezra

William Ezra Crockett

 

Born 1898 Zeehan Tasmania to William James and Ada Bell Crockett (nee Tyler) he enlisted and embarked Sydney 30th December 1915 on board “HMAT Medic” with the 4th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 24th July 1916 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.  He was 18 years old. 

His father, Sgt William James Crockett (No 2617) died from wounds received in the field in France and was buried in the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, France.
