Cronin Daniel Francis
Born 1876 Geelong Victoria married to Sarah Lydia Buchanan had 4 children and living at New Town Tasmania a barman he embarked Hobart 13th December 1915 on board “HMAT Ajana” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.
He passed through the school of instruction in Egypt and at the time of his death held the rank of sergeant.
He was killed in action 25th August 1916 at Pozieres in France and is commemorated in the Serre Road Cemetery No 2, Beaumont Hamel, Picardie, France
