Cronin Daniel Francis

Born 1876 Geelong Victoria married to Sarah Lydia Buchanan had 4 children and living at New Town Tasmania a barman he embarked Hobart 13^th December 1915 on board “HMAT Ajana” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He passed through the school of instruction in Egypt and at the time of his death held the rank of sergeant.

He was killed in action 25^th August 1916 at Pozieres in France and is commemorated in the Serre Road Cemetery No 2, Beaumont Hamel, Picardie, France
