Cross, Reuben

 

 

Born 26th July 1893 Wynyard Tasmania to Herbert and Emma Cross, a farmer who departed Brisbane 5th October 1915 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.

 He was wounded at Gallipoli and transferred to the Alexandria Hospital Egypt where he died 4th January 1916 from his wounds.  He was buried in the Alexandria (Chatby) Military and War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
