Crossingham, John Leslie

 

Born Launceston Tasmania the son of John and Emily Crossingham (nee Saggers) married married to Lilian Jones a 20 year old tinsmith he enlisted New South Wales and embarked 9th August 1915 on board “HMAT Runic” with the 4th Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 14th August 1916 at Pozieres and is commemorated in the Pozieres British Cemetery (Plot III, Row C, Grave No. 48), Ovillers-La-Boisselle, France
