Crossingham, John Leslie

Born Launceston Tasmania the son of John and Emily Crossingham (nee Saggers) married married to Lilian Jones a 20 year old tinsmith he enlisted New South Wales and embarked 9^th August 1915 on board “HMAT Runic” with the 4^th Battalion.

He was killed in action 14^th August 1916 at Pozieres and is commemorated in the Pozieres British Cemetery (Plot III, Row C, Grave No. 48), Ovillers-La-Boisselle, France
