Curran Tasman Reginald
Born 28th September 1896 Hastings Tasmania the son of William and Amelia Curran (nee Boswood) a sawmill hand he enlisted Kew New South Wales and embarked Sydney 13th May 1916 on board “HMAT Beltana” with the 36th Infantry Battalion.
He died 8th May 1918 from gunshot wounds to the chest and is commemorated in the Vignacourt British Cemetery, Vignacourt, Picardie, France Mr. and Mrs. W. Curran, Southport have been officially informed that their son, Private Tasman Reginald Curran had died somewhere in France, cause of death not stated; also that their other son, Acting-Corporal C. E. Curran, had been wounded, second occasion. The Mercury 18th May 1918
