Curtis, Michael Eric
Born 1896 Hobart Tasmania the son of Harry and Maria Curtis (nee Goram) a horse driver he embarked Melbourne 4th August 1917 on board “HMAT Themistocles” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He was serving with the 40th Battalion when he died 24th August 1918 at the 41st Casualty Clearing Station in France from shell wounds to the back and was buried in the Daours Communal Cemetery Extension, Daours, Somme, France.
