Daley Lionel Fleetwood

Born 13th October 1899 Bryn Estyn New Norfolk, Tasmania to Fleetwood and Evelyn Louisa Daley (nee Brasington).

 

He enrolled 14th February 1916 which would have made him only 17 at the time of his enlistment.  He was attached to the 40th Battalion and left Hobart for Europe on the 1st. July 1916 on the “HMAT Berrima”.

 

He died from gunshot wounds received in the thigh and hands on the 15th April 1917 and was buried in the Trois Arbres Steenwerck cemetery in France.
