If you could spare a few dollars to help with the running costs of hosting this website to keep it alive would be very much appreciated.

Thankyou from Gravesites of Tasmania in advance.

Daley Richard

Aka Sydney Montgomery Daley

Born 7th September 1884 the son of David and Eliza Daley (nee Bezzant) married to Beatrice Elsie Kromer a 31 year old butcher decided to enlist but was rejected here on medical grounds. He married  in 1916 and then they travelled to Melbourne where he successfully enlisted. A couple of days after landing in France he was overcome with an asthma attack (possibly gas attack) and was evacuated to England where he died 11th December 1916.

He was buried in the Durrington Cemetery Wiltshire.
