Davern, Cecil

 

 

 

Born 6th March 1891 St Mary’s Tasmania the son of William John and Catherine Elizabeth Davern (nee Strochnetter) a miner who embarked Adelaide 10th February 1917 on board “HMAT Seang Bee” with the 12th Infantry Battalion

He died 29th August 1918 at Daours France from wounds received in the field and was buried in the Daours Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
