Davern, Cecil

Born 6^th March 1891 St Mary’s Tasmania the son of William John and Catherine Elizabeth Davern (nee Strochnetter) a miner who embarked Adelaide 10^th February 1917 on board “HMAT Seang Bee” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion

He died 29^th August 1918 at Daours France from wounds received in the field and was buried in the Daours Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
