Davies, Clifford George
Born 29th October 1889 Wynyard Tasmania to James and Margaret Jane Davies (nee Lewis) a miner who embarked Melbourne 24th November 1915 on board RMS Orontes with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he was killed in action 4th September 1916 at Moquet Farm and as he has no known grave is listed on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
