Dean Allan Roy
Born Breadalbane Tasmania the son of James Edward and Emily Dean a farmer he embarked Sydney 31st March 1916 on board “Star of Victoria” with the 9th Infantry Battalion.
He received a gunshot wound to the forehead at Messines and died 9th June 1917 at the 53rd Casualty Clearing Station Belgium and was buried in the Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension (Nord), Lille, Nord Pas de Calais, France
