Dennis, Leslie Charles

Born Flowerdale Tasmania the son of Henry and Alice Dennis (nee Crisp) a farm worker he embarked Hobart 8^th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 28^th March 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, Peronne, France.
