Dilger, Albert William

Born 8^th June 1888 Swansea Tasmania the son of William Christian and Mary Elizabeth Dilger (nee Skeggs) a Government Overseer he embarked Adelaide 24^th June 1915 on board “HMAT Kanowna” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

Lance Corporal Dilger was killed in action 31^st May 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Borre British Cemetery, Hazebrouck, Nord Pas de Calais, France

His brother Pte Harry Dilger (No 366) was killed in action 31^st January 1917 and is commemorated in the Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres, Lille, Nord Pas de Calais, France
