Dineen, Arthur Ernest
Born 1st June 1880 Launceston Tasmania the son of George and Lucy Dineen (nee Burnett) married to Thelda Millicent Stanton a carpenter he embarked 22nd December 1916 on board “HMAT Persic” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He had previously served in the artillery at Queenstown and the Boer War (No 1220) with the 1st Australian Commonwealth Horse.
He was killed in action 28th May 1915 in France and is commemorated in the Borre British Cemetery, Hazebrouck, Nord, France.
