Dineen, Arthur Ernest

Born 1^st June 1880 Launceston Tasmania the son of George and Lucy Dineen (nee Burnett) married to Thelda Millicent Stanton a carpenter he embarked 22^nd December 1916 on board “HMAT Persic” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He had previously served in the artillery at Queenstown and the Boer War (No 1220) with the 1^st Australian Commonwealth Horse.

He was killed in action 28^th May 1915 in France and is commemorated in the Borre British Cemetery, Hazebrouck, Nord, France.
