Dornauf Angus
Born Lilydale Tasmania the son of Peter and Jane Sophia Dornauf (nee Shore) a labourer he enlisted South Australia and embarked Adelaide 7th February 1916 on board “HMAT Miltiades” with the 32nd Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 28th September 1917 when he was hit by pieces of shell at Polygon Wood and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
