Doyle John Michael

 

Born 1st September 1881 Invermay Tasmania to Bryant and Ellen Eleanor Doyle (nee Austin) a miner he embarked Sydney 11th May 1916 on board “HMAT Argyllshire” with the 9th Field Artillery Brigade. 

He was also a boxer who fought under the assumed name of ‘Snowy Malone.’ 

He was killed in action 26th November 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in The Huts Cemetery, Belgium
