Duffey Robert James

 

 

Born 19th June 1889 Launceston Tasmania to Patrick and Bridget Agnes Duffey (nee Daley) a painter who embarked Sydney 11th December 1915 on board RMS Mooltan with the 1st Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 19th August 1916 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.

His brother Pte Herbert William Duffey died of wounds in France 22nd November 1916
