Edwards Albert Gordon

Born 8^th February 1890 Ringarooma Tasmania to George and Ann Caroline Edwards (nee Crichton) a farm assistant who departed Brisbane 24^th May 1915 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 7th Australian Machine Gun Corps in France when he was admitted to the 4^th General Hospital Camiers 10^th August 1916 with gunshot wounds to the thigh and hand. He died the same day and was buried in the Etaples Military Cemetery, France.
