Edwards, Alfred

Born 3^rd June 1898 Brighton Tasmania to William and Ellen Christina Edwards (nee Jenson) a labourer who embarked Hobart 20^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was wounded at Gallipoli and died 12^th August 1915 in Greece and was buried in the Portianos Military Cemetery, Greece.

He was 17 years old.
