Edwards, Alfred

 

Born 3rd June 1898 Brighton Tasmania to William and Ellen Christina Edwards (nee Jenson) a labourer who embarked Hobart 20th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

He was wounded at Gallipoli and died 12th August 1915 in Greece and was buried in the Portianos Military Cemetery, Greece.

He was 17 years old.
