Enman, Arthur

 

 

Born 2nd January 1888 Hobart Tasmania the son of James Francis and Matilda Enman (nee Dawson) married Minnie Brennan and a painter he embarked Melbourne 5th January 1916 on board “HMAT Afric” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 26th March 1917 and is commemorated in the Morchies Military Cemetery, France 

ENMAN. -Killed in action in France, on March 26, 1917, Private Arthur, the dearly beloved son of James and Matilda Enman, of 81 Montpelier Street, Hobart, aged 30 years. He died for King and Country.
