Evans Frank Hubert
Born 1895 Hobart Tasmania the son of Hubert John and Emily Evans (nee Lucas) a student on a farm he embarked Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 4th August 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Ari Burnu Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey KILLED IN ACTION. EVANS. — Frank Hubert (Private, 15th Battalion), killed in action at Dardanelles. Son of Mrs. H. J. Evans, Highbury Hospital, Hobart, aged 20
