Fisher, John Albert

Born 1890 Launceston Tasmania the son of John and Margaret Elizabeth Fisher (nee Summers) of Cape Barren Island, a seaman he embarked Melbourne 21^st October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Melbourne” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 13^th October 1917 in Belgium from wounds received in the field and was buried in the Potijze Chateau Grounds Cemetery, Belgium.
