Fisher, James Clarke
Born 1898 Hobart Tasmania the son of William Gentry and Ellen Fisher (nee Slaughter) a bricklayer and carpenter of 14 Star Street South Hobart he embarked Melbourne 10th September 1915 on board “HMAT Makarini” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.
He died 7th October 1915 on board “HMAT Makarini” from pneumonia and is commemorated on the Suez War Memorial Cemetery, Suez, Suez Canal, Egypt
