Fitzmaurice, Henry Joseph
Born 8th Jan 1894 Emu Bay Tasmania to William and Ellen Agnes Fitzmaurice (nee Cook) he was a labourer when he enlisted and departed Hobart 8th August 1916 on “HMAT Ballarat” with the 12th Infantry Battalion
He was wounded in action 15th December 1916 with a gunshot wound to the head which perforated the cranium. He was taken to the 11th Stationery Hospital Rouen France but died from this injury ten days later 25th December 1916.
He was buried St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France
