Born Cressy Tasmania the son of Andrew and Mary Flaherty a stock rider who died 2nd July 1916 at the Base Hospital Launceston from pneumonia and was buried in the Victoria Garden of Remembrance, Australia FLAHERTY.—On the 2nd July, at the Base Hospital, Launceston, Private Thomas Flaherty, third son of Andrew and Mary Flaherty, of Cressy, Tasmania, aged 22 years. R.I.P.
