Flexmore, Archie Youl

 

Born 24th December 1892 Richmond Tasmania to Albert Somerville and Jane Louisa Marion Flexmore (nee Wilson) he embarked Melbourne 3rd October 1916 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the Australian Field Artillery.

 

On the 18th September 1917 he received a gunshot wound to right buttock and was admitted to the 2nd Canadian Clearing Station where he died the same day.

 He is buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
