Fowler Percival Leonard

Born 13^th October 1890 Beaconsfield Tasmania the son of Alexander Robert and Sophia Fowler (nee Barr) married an assayer he enlisted and embarked Melbourne 10^th November 1915 with the 29^th Infantry Battalion and the rank of sergeant.

He served with the 92^nd Infantry Launceston and was appointed 2^nd Lieutenant 2^nd August 1916 and to Lieutenant on the 29^th January 1917.

He died 8^th August 1918 at Corbie France when he was hit by a shell and is commemorated in the Corbie Communal Cemetery Extension, Picardie, France
