Fowler Percival Leonard
Born 13th October 1890 Beaconsfield Tasmania the son of Alexander Robert and Sophia Fowler (nee Barr) married an assayer he enlisted and embarked Melbourne 10th November 1915 with the 29th Infantry Battalion and the rank of sergeant.
He served with the 92nd Infantry Launceston and was appointed 2nd Lieutenant 2nd August 1916 and to Lieutenant on the 29th January 1917.
He died 8th August 1918 at Corbie France when he was hit by a shell and is commemorated in the Corbie Communal Cemetery Extension, Picardie, France
