Fowler, Percival Lewis
Born 1883 Deloraine Tasmania the son of George William and Sarah Burgess married with three children a labourer he embarked Hobart 1st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 13th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
Sadly his wife received none of his personal possessions as everything was lost when SS Barunga was lost as sea on its way to Australia
