Fowler, Percival Lewis

Born 1883 Deloraine Tasmania the son of George William and Sarah Burgess married with three children a labourer he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 13^th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium

Sadly his wife received none of his personal possessions as everything was lost when SS Barunga was lost as sea on its way to Australia
