Frith, Roy
Born 1896 Launceston Tasmania the son of Albert Arthur Frith an orchardist who embarked Melbourne 21st November 1917 on board “HMAT Nestor” with the 23rd Infantry Battalion. Cpl Frith died 19th August 1918 at the 4th Australian Field Ambulance from shell wounds received in the field and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery, France. His brother Gunner Arthur William Frith (No 9564) also died from wounds received one week prior to his brother on 13th August 1918 and is buried in the Vignacourt British Cemetery, France.
