GADD, WILLIAM MANSFIELD
News was received at Collinsvale by the sister and relatives of Private W. M. Gadd of his death in action in France on April 15. Private Gadd enlisted, and left on January 16, 1916, being then in his 17th year. His father, Albert Gadd, was one of the Mount Lyell heroes who gave his life trying to assist his fellow workmen at tho time of the Mount Lyell disaster. The Mercury 19th May 1917
