Geard, Everett Stanley
Born 1895 Macquarie Plains Tasmania the son of Thomas and Emma Jane Geard (nee Abel) he embarked Hobart on board “HMAT Seang Choon” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 8th April 1917 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France. GEARD. -Killed in action in France, April 8, 1917, Private Everett Stancil Geard, aged 21 years, fifth dearly loved son of Thomas and Emma Geard, Brighton.
