Geard, Everett Stanley

Born 1895 Macquarie Plains Tasmania the son of Thomas and Emma Jane Geard (nee Abel) he embarked Hobart on board “HMAT Seang Choon” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 8^th April 1917 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.

GEARD. -Killed in action in France, April 8, 1917, Private Everett Stancil Geard, aged 21 years, fifth dearly loved son of Thomas and Emma Geard, Brighton.
