Geason Percy
Born 20th May 1885 Colebrook Tasmania the son of Patrick and Annie Elizabeth Geason a labourer he embarked Sydney 8th March 1916 on board “HMAT Star of England) with the 3rd Infantry Battalion. He was serving with the 55th Battalion when he was killed in action 20th July 1916 and is commemorated in thePheasant Wood Military Cemetery. Mrs Paul P Quinn, of Brunswick (V.) and formerly of Dundas, West Coast, has received the sad news of the death of her brother Private Percy Milne Genson, who was killed in action in France in July 1916, and previously reported missing. Private Geason was 31 years of age, a native of Colebrook, and fourth son of the late Mr and Mrs P. Geason, formerly of Oatlands.
