Geeves, Leslie Harry

 

 

 

 

Born 5th November 1891 Franklin Tasmania to James Hedley and Lily Louisa Geeves (nee Longley) married with one child, a storekeeper he embarked Melbourne 19th February 1915 on board “HMAT Runic” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.  He had also served with the 1st Contingent in the Boer War

Sgt Geeves died 4th April 1916 in the Royal Herbert Hospital Woolwich England from bronchial pneumonia and was buried in the Greenwich Cemetery, United Kingdom.
