Geeves, Leslie Harry

Born 5^th November 1891 Franklin Tasmania to James Hedley and Lily Louisa Geeves (nee Longley) married with one child, a storekeeper he embarked Melbourne 19^th February 1915 on board “HMAT Runic” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion. He had also served with the 1^st Contingent in the Boer War

Sgt Geeves died 4^th April 1916 in the Royal Herbert Hospital Woolwich England from bronchial pneumonia and was buried in the Greenwich Cemetery, United Kingdom.
