George Richard Eldred

Born 17^th March 1891 Ringarooma Tasmania to Thomas William and Elizabeth George (nee Johnson) who served with the 1^st Battalion Auckland Regiment.

He died from wounds received on the field 1^st July 1916 at Armentieres and is commemorated in the Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension (Nord), France.
