Gilham, Charles Henry Roy

Born 3^rd April 1897 Zeehan Tasmania the son of Henry William and Robina Gilham (nee Lemin) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 5^th January 1916 on board “HMAT Afric” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52^nd Infantry Battalion when he was killed in action 3^rd September 1916 at Moquet Farm and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
