Fawkner Memorial Park

Born 19^th September 1892 Ringarooma Tasmania to William Sydney and Sarah Jane Gill (nee Daw) he embarked Wellington New Zealand 26^th April 1917 on board “HMAT Turakina” with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force 25th Reinforcements Wellington Infantry Regiment, B Company

He was killed in action 30^th September 1918 in France and was buried in the Anneux British Cemetery, Departement du Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.
