Gorman, Thomas Ernest

Born Hobart Tasmania the son of Owen and Mary Gorman of Chester Siding West Coast Tasmania a miner he embarked Hobart 20^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 1^st June 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Shrapnel Valley Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey

His parents had one word as his epitaph “Elsewhere”
